Death is all around us. We don't want it, we even do not accept it although it's very much part of life. In our world death has become something we are very afraid of and we try to do everything in our power to postpone it.

Some people strongly believe in an afterlife. I do not belong to those but accept the way they feel. This sculpture depicts the way I think death will be. Nothing left but bones or branches, no spirit either. I's all in our brain.
