Loneliness is not that strange. The experience is often compared with kind of an empty space, no people around. But my personal experience is that I often feel lonely especially when there are people around and not when I'm alone.

The colours I use in this painting are caput mortum and apple green. It gives a strong contrast. The space seems deep because of the column in the front, the body is lying in this huge space. Alone.
