sometimes things are not what you expect in life, certainly not the sudden death of a younger family member. But it happened in February 2005. A car accident took the life of my younger brother. Death is strange, it feels surreal, something you do not expect but just is a fact.

I had to cope with it, I didn't know how at first but after a few weeks I came up with the idea of drawing his portrait. I wanted it to be very exact, and while drawing long gone memories came about. Simply drawing his face gave me some relieve and consolation, but there still isn't a day that I do not think about him.
