About Karin Merx

Karin holds a B.A. and is pursuing her Master's degree in Cultural sciences. She is a musician, artist and filmmaker. She studied flute at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam with Pieter Odé and with Marieke Schneemann. As artist she got lessons from artist Harry Druijf who taught her all available techniques to become an artist. She also studied facultative with Henk Huig at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. With Henk Huig she learned how to draw and paint from model. From now on she will mainly devote her time on the arts. That is the art of science - cultural science, music, paint, draw, sculpture and films. This site will be a continuing story of my progression.
